One day the wind blew and blew.
Up and down went the ship.

Pete could not sleep.
Beaky could not sleep.
' I want to get off this ship，'
said Pete.
Pete got a telescope.
' What can you see? ' said Beaky.
' I can see a big wave,' said Pete.
' What can you see now? '
said Beaky.
' I can see a little island,'
said Pete.
‘We could sleep on the island, ’
said Pete.
' I could sleep in a tree, '
said Beaky.
Pete jumped on to the island.
Beaky went to.
'I like it here,' said Pete.
'I don't like it here,' said Beaky.
'Help!' said Beaky.
'This is not a little island.
It is a big monster!'
‘ Thundering cannonballs ! ’
said Pete.
